PayPeople offers specialist payroll services to support business, so any current payroll activity or a new potential payroll activity (before a final decision is made) is fully assessed to ensure it meets business needs, compliance with legislation and payroll best practice.
PayPeople provides specialist support in the following areas:
- Converting leave balances from hours, days, and weeks for large groups of employees and special one-off situations.
- Analysis of potential new and/or existing payments provided to an employee and the impact on the cost to the business, compliance with legislation and any unforeseen consequences or impact on payroll directly and indirectly (e.g. issues with the payroll system, manual workarounds, record keeping, time involved for payroll).
- Modelling of a new payment calculation (employer created or legislative) to be used in payroll. PayPeople will assess and identify any issues with the calculation, if it can work in the payroll system being used and its configuration., We also conduct testing and ensure compliance with any relevant legislation.
- Analysis of different employee work patterns and rosters for existing employees and potential new work patterns and rosters. Identify any consequences with legislation, impact on leave entitlements under the Holidays Act and how it affects an employee’s pay.
- Assessing current or new payroll-related employment agreement clauses to ensure they fit with what a payroll system can do, compliance with legislation, the impact on payroll processing and any unforeseen consequences for the business and payroll.
